Barracuda
Acanthocybium solandri

The adult is a large, fast pelagic predator of tropical and subtropical oceans, usually patrolling offshore reefs, drop-offs, and open blue water. It feeds mainly on fishes and squid, striking at high speed with long jaws lined by sharp teeth. Its streamlined body and deeply forked tail make it one of the quickest pursuit hunters among large marine fishes. Adults are often solitary or loosely associated with other hunters, and their speed is their most notable weapon.
