Black Eagle
Ictinaetus malaiensis

Black Eagles inhabit forested hills and mountains from South and Southeast Asia to southern China. They soar slowly over the canopy and hunt eggs, nestlings, reptiles, and small mammals, often reaching into nests with their long talons. Their exceptionally broad wings and widely spread primary feathers give them a distinctive silhouette in flight.
