Spotted Sea Hare
Aplysia depilans

Adult spotted sea hares inhabit shallow Mediterranean and eastern Atlantic coastal waters, especially algae-rich rocky areas and seagrass beds. They crawl slowly while grazing on seaweeds with their radula, often blending with the vegetation they eat. When threatened, they can release a purple ink-like secretion and defensive mucus that discourages predators.
