False Gharial
Tomistoma schlegelii

Adult false gharials inhabit deep, slow rivers, swamp forests, and dark peatland waterways in Southeast Asia. They are patient aquatic ambush hunters that feed mainly on fish, but may also take crustaceans, reptiles, birds, and small mammals. Despite their very long, slender snouts, large adults are powerful crocodilians capable of reaching several metres in length.
