Harvestman
Paroligolophus agrestis

An adult harvestman lives among leaf litter, tree trunks, rock crevices, grass, and other humid hiding places, often becoming active at dusk or night. It eats small invertebrates, dead insects, fungi, and plant material, making it both a predator and scavenger. Despite its spider-like appearance, it has a fused body and does not spin webs or inject venom. Its most notable defense is a pair of scent glands that release foul, chemically irritating secretions when threatened.
