Spring Tree-Top Flasher
Pyractomena borealis

Adults are active on warm spring evenings around woodland edges and damp clearings, often flying high among trees. They take small amounts of nectar or other moisture while focusing much of their brief adult life on finding mates. Males use precisely timed flashes during flight to signal to females.
