Small Magpie
Anania hortulata

Adult Small Magpies fly in gardens, woodland edges, hedgerows, and damp grassy places where nettles grow. They are most active around dusk and at night, visiting flowers for nectar. The boldly marked black-and-white wings give this small moth its magpie-like name.
