Box Tree Moth Larva
Cryptographis perspectalis (larva)
This green, black-striped caterpillar lives among boxwood shrubs in gardens, hedgerows, and woodland edges. It feeds voraciously on boxwood leaves and often hides beneath silk webbing spun over the foliage. Its colouring and habit of remaining among dense leaves help it avoid notice while feeding.
