Swamp Lymnaea
Lymnaea stagnalis

Adult swamp lymnaea inhabit quiet freshwater pools, marshes, and slow-moving streams rich in aquatic vegetation. They glide across plants and sediments to graze algae, biofilm, and decomposing vegetation. Despite living underwater, this snail is an air-breather and surfaces to fill its lung cavity.
