Cellar Spider
Smeringopus pallidus

Cellar spiders inhabit dim buildings, caves, and other sheltered places where they build irregular, tangled webs. They feed on flies, mosquitoes, moths, and sometimes other spiders caught in the web. When disturbed, an adult often vibrates rapidly in its web, becoming a blurred target that is difficult to track.
