Green Crested Lizard
Bronchocela cristatella
The adult green crested lizard is an arboreal agamid of Southeast Asian forests, forest edges, gardens, and mangrove vegetation. It eats insects and other small invertebrates, usually hunting from a perch with sit-and-wait ambush tactics. Adults have a long balancing tail and a raised crest along the neck and back, and their color can shift from bright green toward brown when disturbed.
