Japanese spiny lobster
Panulirus japonicus

Adult Japanese spiny lobsters inhabit rocky coastal reefs and ledges, usually hiding deep in crevices by day. At night they forage for molluscs, crustaceans, sea urchins, and other bottom-dwelling food. Their exceptionally long, spiny antennae are used to probe their surroundings and discourage predators.
