Amano shrimp
Caridina multidentata

Amano shrimp inhabit clear freshwater streams and rivers, usually keeping close to rocks, leaf litter, and aquatic vegetation. They spend much of their time picking at algae, biofilm, and decaying material with their small claws. Females carry many eggs, but the young require brackish or marine water for their early larval development.
