Razorfish
Aeoliscus strigatus

Adult razorfish inhabit warm Indo-Pacific seagrass meadows, sandy lagoons, and protected coral reefs. They feed mainly on tiny crustaceans and other zooplankton sucked in through their tubular snouts. A stiff casing of bony plates gives the fish its razor-like shape, and it commonly swims vertically with its head pointed downward.
