Slug
Meghimatium striatum
The adult striped slug inhabits moist forest floors, shaded gardens, and other sheltered places with abundant organic debris. It feeds by rasping fungi, decomposing leaves, and tender plant material with its radula. Mostly active after rain or at night, it hides under cover by day and produces abundant mucus that protects its soft body from abrasion and drying.
