Banded Garden Snail
Xeropicta derbentina

Adults inhabit dry grasslands, roadsides, gardens, and rocky ground, becoming most active after rain or during humid nights. They feed by scraping algae, fungi, decaying vegetation, and tender plant surfaces. During hot, dry weather, an adult can seal itself inside its shell and remain dormant until moisture returns.
