Blackfinned Clownfish
Amphiprion percula

Adult blackfinned clownfish inhabit coral reefs, where they remain closely associated with particular sea anemones. They feed on zooplankton, small benthic crustaceans, algae, and scraps caught around their host. Adults actively defend their anemone from intruding fish, using quick charges and bites. Like other clownfish, individuals can change sex, with the dominant breeding fish becoming female.
