Black-naped Oriole
Oriolus chinensis

The adult is a bright yellow canopy bird with a black nape and eye-stripe, found in forests, mangroves, parks, orchards, and wooded gardens across much of southern and eastern Asia. It feeds mainly on fruit, nectar, and insects, often moving actively through the upper branches. Adults are strong fliers and may drive away intruders near the nest with calls, pecks, and diving passes. Its rich fluting call is one of its most noticeable field marks.
