Priacma bleach beetle
Priacma serrata
Adults inhabit old conifer forests, especially places with fallen, decaying logs and loose bark. They walk over wood surfaces and can fly to locate suitable shelter and breeding sites. The beetle's distinctive ridged wing cases protect its body while it explores crevices in dead timber.
