Willie Wagtail
Rhipidura leucophrys

Willie wagtails inhabit open woodland, gardens, farmland, wetlands, and urban areas across much of Australia and nearby regions. They hunt insects by darting after flying prey, hopping over the ground, and snapping up invertebrates from foliage. This bold little bird is known for constantly wagging its long tail and fiercely swooping much larger intruders near its nest.
