Lime-Speck Pug
Eupithecia centaureata
This small nocturnal moth occurs in woodland, hedgerows, gardens, and other leafy habitats across much of its range. Adults fly after dark and may visit flowers for nectar, while being readily drawn to artificial lights. The pale wings carry fine lime-green speckling and wavy markings that break up its outline when at rest.
