Greater White-fronted Goose
Anser albifrons

Greater White-fronted Geese breed across Arctic tundra and winter in wetlands, flooded fields, and open farmland farther south. Adults graze on grasses, sedges, grain, roots, and aquatic vegetation, often feeding on land near water. They are strongly migratory geese, recognized by the white patch at the base of the bill and the dark bars across the belly.
