Dalmatian Pelican
Pelecanus crispus

Dalmatian Pelicans inhabit large freshwater lakes, marshes, river deltas, and coastal lagoons across parts of Europe and Asia. Adults forage mainly for fish, swimming steadily before scooping prey with their immense expandable bill pouch. They breed in colonies on islands or floating vegetation, often in remote wetlands. Among the world's largest flying birds, an adult may carry a bill over 40 centimetres long.
