Indian Skipper Frog
Euphlyctis cyanophlyctis

The Indian skipper frog lives in ponds, marshes, flooded fields, and other still or slow-moving freshwater habitats across South Asia. It spends much of its time at the water surface, making rapid, low skimming leaps that give the species its common name. Adults take insects and other small invertebrates, striking from the water's edge or surface. When disturbed, it often escapes with a series of quick jumps across the water rather than diving immediately.
