Honey Badger
Mellivora capensis

Adult honey badgers range across African and parts of southwest Asian savannas, deserts, scrub, and open woodland, often sheltering in burrows by day. They are mostly solitary, fearless foragers that dig powerfully and raid nests, hives, and small-animal refuges. Their diet is broad, including rodents, reptiles, birds, eggs, insects, honey, fruit, and carrion. A notable fact is their unusually thick, loose skin, which helps them twist free and keep fighting even when grabbed.
