Green Peafowl
Pavo muticus

Green Peafowl inhabit open forests, forest edges, grasslands, and river valleys across parts of Southeast Asia. They spend much of the day on the ground, foraging for seeds, fruit, shoots, insects, and small animals, but fly up into trees to roost. Males are especially notable for their long, shimmering train, which is raised and shaken during courtship displays.
