Eastern Banjo Frog Froglet
Limnodynastes dumerilii (froglet)

Eastern Banjo Frog froglets leave their natal water after metamorphosis and shelter among damp leaf litter, low vegetation, and soft soil near wetlands. They begin hunting small insects and other tiny invertebrates with quick snaps of their mouths. Although much smaller than adults, froglets already favour moist cover and may hide in loose soil when conditions become dry.
