Sycamore Whitefly
Aleurochiton aceris

Adult sycamore whiteflies inhabit sycamore and maple foliage, usually resting beneath leaves between short flights. They pierce leaf tissue to drink phloem sap and may leave sticky honeydew behind. Their wings are coated in white wax, giving the tiny adults their characteristic powdery appearance.
