Bridlebass
Epinephelus lanceolatus

The adult giant grouper inhabits coral reefs, rocky ledges, wrecks, and deep coastal waters across the Indo-Pacific. It is an ambush predator that swallows fish, crustaceans, and occasionally small sharks with its enormous mouth. This is among the largest bony fishes found on reefs, capable of exceeding two metres in length.
