American Cockroach Nymph

Periplaneta americana (nymph)

American Cockroach Nymph

American cockroach nymphs shelter in warm, damp crevices in sewers, basements, drains, kitchens, and leaf litter. They are nocturnal scavengers, feeding on crumbs, grease, decaying plant material, and other organic scraps. Wingless at this stage, they still sprint rapidly into narrow cracks when disturbed and molt repeatedly as they grow.
