Citrus Flatid Planthopper
Metcalfa pruinosa
Adults inhabit shrubs, fruit trees, and other woody vegetation in warm, cultivated, and disturbed habitats. They feed on plant sap and readily hop or fly away when approached. The powdery white wings give this planthopper a mothlike appearance despite its sap-feeding lifestyle.
