Common Harvestman
Opilio parietinus

The common harvestman frequents gardens, woodland edges, buildings, and vegetation, often resting in cracks or on sun-warmed walls. It prowls after small insects and other invertebrates, while also feeding on carrion and plant material. Its exceptionally long legs detect vibrations and allow it to move quickly over uneven surfaces. Despite its spider-like appearance, it has no venom glands and does not spin a prey-catching web.
