Marbled Orchard Tortrix
Hedya nubiferana
The adult is a small, nocturnal moth found in orchards, woodland edges, hedgerows, and gardens across much of its range. It rests by day with its patterned forewings folded over its body and may take nectar or other sugary liquids after dark. Its marbled brown-and-cream wing pattern provides useful camouflage against bark and dead leaves.
