Mongoose Lemur
Eulemur mongoz

Mongoose lemurs inhabit dry deciduous forests, gallery forests, and wooded coastal areas of Madagascar. They move nimbly through trees, feeding chiefly on fruit, flowers, nectar, and leaves, with insects taken opportunistically. Adults use scent marks and vocal displays to communicate, and males and females can show notably different facial coloring.
