Florida Horse Conch
Triplofusus giganteus

Adults inhabit shallow marine waters, especially sandy bottoms, seagrass meadows, and oyster reefs along Florida's coast. They are active predators that overpower other large gastropods and bivalves with a powerful foot and proboscis. This is one of the largest living snails in the world, with a shell that can exceed 60 centimeters in length.
