Vulturine Guineafowl
Acryllium vulturinum

Vulturine guineafowl inhabit arid acacia savannas and thorn scrub in eastern Africa. They spend most of the day running over open ground in search of seeds, leaves, bulbs, and invertebrates. Though capable of short, noisy flights, they usually escape danger on foot; their long bare neck and vivid blue-and-black plumage make them especially distinctive.
