Radjah Shelduck
Radjah radjah
Radjah shelducks inhabit lakes, marshes, riverbanks, and open wetlands across parts of South and Southeast Asia. They graze on aquatic plants and seeds while also taking insects, molluscs, and other small animals from mud and shallow water. Adults are strong fliers, often travelling between feeding and nesting areas, and their pale body is marked by a distinctive dark collar around the neck.
