Blue-crowned Parakeet
Aratinga acuticaudata

Adult blue-crowned parakeets inhabit dry forests, savannas, scrublands, and cultivated areas across South America. They forage in trees and on the ground for seeds, fruits, berries, and buds, using their strong hooked bills to break food apart. Their pale blue crown and long tapered tail make them especially recognizable in flight.
