Jaguarundi
Herpailurus yagouaroundi
Jaguarundis inhabit scrubland, forest margins, grasslands, and wetlands from Mexico through much of South America. They hunt mainly by day, stalking and chasing rodents, birds, reptiles, and other small animals through low cover. Unlike many small cats, they have an unusually long body and short legs, giving them an otter-like outline as they move.
