Bongo
Tragelaphus eurycerus

Bongos inhabit dense lowland and montane forests of central Africa, moving quietly through tangled understory. They browse on leaves, shoots, bark, fruit, and other vegetation, often feeding most actively at night. Both sexes carry heavy spiral horns, which can be used in defensive clashes and are held back along the body while moving through brush.
