Little White Lichen Moth
Clemensia albata

The adult little white lichen moth occurs in wooded areas and around trees bearing lichens. It is mainly active at night and flies in search of mates and suitable places to lay eggs. Adults take little or no food, having emerged chiefly to reproduce. Its white-and-gray wing pattern resembles patches of lichen when it rests against bark.
