Goodfellow's Tree-kangaroo
Dendrolagus goodfellowi
Goodfellow's tree-kangaroo lives in the moist mountain forests of Papua New Guinea, spending much of its time in the canopy. It browses leaves, fruit, flowers, and other plant matter, moving deliberately between feeding sites. Despite its kangaroo build, it is an agile climber with long claws and can make controlled leaps between branches.
