Cachama Fingerling
Colossoma macropomum (fingerling)

Cachama fingerlings occupy sheltered margins of rivers, lakes, and flooded forest waters in the Amazon and Orinoco basins. They feed mainly on plankton, tiny invertebrates, and fine plant material while avoiding larger fish. Their deep-bodied shape develops early, helping them make quick turns among submerged roots.
