Bushbuck
Tragelaphus scriptus

Bushbucks inhabit dense woodland, riverine forest, scrub, and thickets, usually close to reliable cover. They are mainly solitary and browse leaves, shoots, herbs, fruit, and occasional crops, often feeding most actively around dawn and dusk. When alarmed, they slip silently into cover or flee with a distinctive raised white tail. Adult males carry short, spiraled horns used in displays and fights.
