Scissortail Rasbora
Rasbora trilineata

Adult scissortail rasboras inhabit flowing freshwater rivers and streams across Southeast Asia, often in open water near submerged plants. They feed on insects, small crustaceans, and other drifting food collected from the water column. Their deeply forked tail gives them strong, rapid swimming control. The black-and-yellow tail pattern resembles an open pair of scissors, giving the fish its common name.
