Orange Spiny Loach
Acanthopsoides molobrion

The adult Orange Spiny Loach inhabits shallow, slow to moderately flowing freshwater streams with sandy bottoms. It searches the substrate for small insect larvae, crustaceans, and other bottom-dwelling invertebrates. Its slender body lets it wriggle into soft sand and leaf litter, where its mottled orange-brown coloration helps conceal it.
