Indian Babylon
Babylonia zeylanica

Adult Indian Babylons inhabit sandy seabeds in warm coastal waters of the Indian Ocean region. They bury themselves in sediment and emerge to scavenge or prey on small bottom-dwelling animals. Their glossy, boldly patterned shells are prized by collectors and can reach several centimetres in length.
