Giant Spider Conch
Lambis truncata

The adult giant spider conch inhabits warm, shallow Indo-Pacific reef flats, sandy lagoons, and seagrass beds. It moves across the bottom on a strong foot, feeding chiefly by scraping algae and biofilm with its radula. Its large, flared shell bears long finger-like projections, a distinctive shape that helps make it difficult for predators to handle.
