Oedipomidas oedipus

The cotton-top tamarin inhabits tropical dry forest, secondary woodland, and forest fragments in northwestern Colombia. It is an agile canopy-forager that eats insects, fruit, nectar, and occasional small vertebrates. Adults are recognized by their dramatic white crest and use varied calls to keep contact in dense vegetation.
