Clown Knifefish Fingerling
Chitala ornata (fingerling)
This young fish shelters among submerged roots, plants, and woody debris in slow-moving freshwater. It feeds on tiny aquatic insects, crustaceans, and other small invertebrates, usually becoming most active after dark. Its long anal fin already lets it glide forward or backward with unusual precision.
